CM TO LAY FOUNDATION STONE FOR DR. BABASAHEB AMBEDKAR BHAVAN ON APRIL 14

The Directorate of Social Welfare and Goa State SC and OBC Finance and Development Corporation Ltd. along with other collaborating Departments will celebrate 135th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar as a State function on April 14, 2026 at 10.30 am at Dr. Ambedkar Park near KTC Bus Stand, Panaji.

Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant alongwith Speaker, Goa Legislative Assembly Dr. Ganesh Gaonkar and Minister for Social Welfare Shri. Subhash Phaldessai and other dignitaries will garland the statue of Dr. Ambedkar.

On the occasion Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant will lay foundation stone for construction of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Bhavan through virtual mode.

The programme will be followed by speeches of dignitaries and felicitation of students.
