PARTICIPATION FOR “AAMCHI CHAVATH 2026” ONLINE COMPETITION EXTENDED UP TO SEPT. 25

The Department of Art and Culture, has launched a state-wide online competition, ‘Aamchi Chavath 2026’ to showcase and celebrate the devotion, creativity, traditions and festive spirit of Goa’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations and take the unique cultural flavour of Goa’s ‘Chavath` to audiences across India and the world through social media and digital platforms.

‘Aamchi Chavath 2026’ features three categories such Family Tradition Video/Reel, Ganpati Song Singing and Ganpati Stotra Recitation.

On the request of devotees and participants, the Department has extended the last date for registration and submission/ uploading of entries up to September 25, 2026. For updates and assistance, participants may save 7066511611 on their mobile phones as ‘Aamchi Chavath’.

Entries received under the above three categories will be judged online based on the views, likes and shares received by the entries published on the Department’s official social media pages. Any use of artificial, fraudulent or unfair means to increase views, likes or shares will result in disqualification. Participants can register and submit their entries and content through the official QR code. Attractive prizes will be awarded to the winners in the respective categories.
