PAID HOLIDAY FOR PANCHAYAT BYE ELECTION

General Administration Department has declared the August 16, 2026 as a ‘Paid Holiday’ being the ‘Polling Day’ for the Bye Elections to Ward No. I of Village Panchayat Chinchinim Deussua, taluka Salcete, South Goa District.

The holiday will be a paid holiday to workers of all establishments including commercial and industrial undertakings in the State of Goa; daily wage/ casual workers employed in any business, trade, industrial undertakings, Government departments, State Government Industrial Department or any other establishment provided they are the voters for the Bye election.
