NOTICE TO MARINERS

Panaji: August 13, 2026

Captain of Ports Department has issued notice to mariners that in view of the celebration of Independence Day on August 15, 2026 in front of Old Secretariat, Panaji, all the barges/ boats (except those engaged in essential services) operating in the Mandovi River from 7.00 a.m to 12.00 noon of August 15, 2026 shall stop the operations in Mandovi river form western side of the old Mandovi bridge up to Panaji – Betim ferry ramp during above mentioned date and time for security reasons.

No vessels shall anchor/ dock at the Captain of Ports jetty situated in the close proximity opposite the Old Secretariat, Panaji.
