FUNCTION AT THE MARTYR’S MEMORIAL AT PATRADEVI ON AUG 15

An Independence day function will be held at the Goa Maharashtra border, Patradevi (Old Road) and at the Martyr’s Memorial, Patradevi at 11.30 a.m. on August 15, 2026 where Chief Minister will lay wreath at the Martyr’s Memorial.

The Chief Minister will first proceed to the Goa Maharashtra border, Patradevi and lay the wreath at the spot where the Freedom Fighters were shot dead and thereafter will proceed to the Martyrs Memorial, Patradevi for the function.

Choir group of Bal Bhavan will sing National song ‘Vande Mataram’. Chief Minister will hoist the National tricolor and will lay wreaths at Martyr’s memorial. Parade will pay compliments to the memorial and the Police band will play last post.
