Badminton tournament for Gvt officials held under Fit India Mission

As part of the National Sports Day 2025 celebrations, a Badminton Tournament for Government officials of South Goa District was organised at Navelim Stadium today under the Fit India Mission. The event was jointly organised by the Collectorate, South Goa, District Police, South Goa and the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs with the objective of promoting health, fitness, and camaraderie among officials.

Shri Shripad Naik, Minister of State for Ports, River Navigation and Tourism, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event was also attended by Ms. Egna Cleetus, IAS, Collector South Goa, and Shri Tikam Singh Verma, IPS, Superintendent of Police, South Goa, along with other dignitaries and participants.

The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from officials, further strengthening the spirit of fitness, wellness, and togetherness.
