SMALL ARMS FIRING AT CAVELOSSIM RANGE

INS Hansa, Dabolim has informed that small arms firing has been planned at Cavelossim between July 8, 2025 to July 10, 2025 and July 29, 2025 to July 30, 2025.

In light of this residents of Cavelossim and adjoining areas are informed that there is no danger to civilian population and property in the vicinity of the range. All small arms weapons fired by this unit will land on target areas which are well within the Cavelossim range. Residents are advised not to be alarmed by the sound  of firing.

Also residents are prohibited from proceeding to the beach front adjoining the Cavelossim range as it falls in danger area.

Similarly, fishing boats/ recreation boats are prohibited in the area 2 km seaward of the Cavelossim range.
