DEPT TW INVITES APPLICATION FOR PRE & POST MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP FOR ST STUDENTS

The Directorate of Tribal Welfare has invited online application for Centrally Sponsored Scheme ie. Pre-Matric and Post Matric Scholarship for ST students for Std. IX and X on National Scholarship Portal (https://scholarships.gov.in) for the current year 2025-26.

Further the Directorate of Tribal Welfare has declared timelines on National Scholarship Portal for above scheme process for Fresh/Renewal is registration/apply for Scholarship is on June 10 to October 31, 2025, completion of verification by Institute is on November 30, 2025, completion of verification by District/ State is December 31, 2025

Similarly, one time registration (OTR) guidelines for scholarship hosted on NSP are as follows Mandatory Requirement is one time registration (OTR) is mandatory for applying for ST scholarship schemes on NSP, essential requirement for OTR active mobile number is mandatory for OTR.

The steps for registration are once allotted an OTR, student can apply for scholarship later when the portal is open for application submission, upon successful registration, a reference number will be sent on the registered mobile number, download and install NSP OTR app and Aadhaar Face RD services on android based devices, perform the Face-Authentication using the generated reference number for OTR sent on your mobile no., after successful Face-Authentication OTR will be generated and apply for scholarship using OTR, Aadhaar Requirement- Aadhaar is required for OTR. If Aadhaar is not assigned registration can be done using Enrollment ID (EID) for Aadhaar. If a minor student has not been assigned Aadhaar yet, registration can be done using Aadhaar or her parent or legal guardian and all scholarship payments are made using Aadhaar Payment Bridge(APB) system. Students have to seed their bank account with their Aadhaar number and confirm Aadhar seeding status online on NSP portal.
