Pace of Development to be Accelerated In Mollem Village – CM

Chief Minister Dr.Pramod Sawant inaugurated the Re-construction of bridge at Palaskata , Maisal in the jurisdiction of Village Panchayat Mollem in Dharbandora taluka today.

Present on the occasion were Minister for PWD Shri Deepak Prabhu Pauskar, Sarpanch of Mollem V.P Miss.Tanvi Kerkar, Collem V.P. Sarpanch Shri Manish Lambore, Z.P Member Smt.Sudha Gaonkar, Dy.Sarpanch Mollem Shri Sushant Bhagat Chief Executive Engineer , Roads & Bridges Shri D.S.Gupta, and other panchayat members of Village Panchayat

Speaking on the occasion the Chief Minister said that in order to take Goa ahead in the area of infrastructure and human development, under the Atmanirbhar Bharat Swaympurna Goa campaign, three projects inaugurated in Mollem village i.e. Biodiversity park, 4th Bird Festival and Re-construction of bridge is a decisive step in that direction, which will help boost the development in Mollem village. These projects not only will provide employment to locals but will also offer opportunity to generate revenue by attracting tourists to our adventure activities.

The Chief Minister said , during post Liberation period of Goa lot of development has been undertaken in urban areas but rural areas are still lagging behind in the area of development. We need to fill this Gap. Now, the Government is endeavouring to make development of human along with infrastructure development. The Government will make efforts to provide regular electricity supply, water facility apart from creating many employment opportunities in Mollem village, he added.

The Government is working on the Antodaya Tatva to work for the last person of the society and committed not only to extend the benefit of each and every scheme of the Government, but also to provide basic amenities to the people. The Government, he said is making efforts for the resumption of mining activity and resolve unemployment problem.

Speaking on the occasion Shri Deepak Pauaskar stated that the Government has concern about overall development of Goa. It is proposed to set up water treatment plant, beautification of Dudhasagar road etc. among other developmental works in Mollem Village.
