GOVERNOR EXTENDS GREETINGS ON OCCASION OF RAM NAVAMI

The Governor P. S. Sreedharan Pillai has greeted the people on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami. The Governor extended his heartiest greetings and warm wishes to the people of Goa. In his message the Governor said, “Ram Navami signifies the important day on which Lord Rama was born. Lord Rama is revered as the embodiment of dharma and incarnation of Vishnu, known for his unwavering adherence to duty and his exemplary qualities as a prince, husband, and king”.

The Governor added, “Lord Rama taught us to remain devoted to truth and justice, show valour and courage in times of need and remain humble in victory and defeat. On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, my sincere appeal to all the people of Goa to practice the noble principles of lord Rama and rededicate ourselves towards greater harmony, good will, social solidarity and community progress.”

The Governor hoped that the celebrations of Ram Navami brings joy, peace, and prosperity to each and everyone.
