NOMINATIONS INVITED FROM ST MEMBERS TO WITNESS REPUBLIC DAY PARADE

Directorate of Tribal Welfare has invited nominations from two Tribal representatives one male and one female from any of the scheduled Tribes members from backward Tribal communities preferably from BPL in the State to witness the Republic Day parade and Celebration, 2025 at New Delhi.

The Schedule Tribe person of Goa whose age is not over sixty years and interested to witness Republic Day Parade, 2025 at New Delhi may submit their nomination in the proforma to the Director, Directorate of Tribal Welfare, Shrama Shakti Bhavan, 5th floor, Patto, Panaji, Goa latest by November 10, 2024.

Proforma of nomination includes name of the Tribal applicant, Date of Birth / Age, Father’s name, Mother’s name, Husband’s / Wife’s name, Full residential address, Contact number, Tribal to which he/ she belongs ( enclosing caste certificate) : , and family annual income from all sources.

Only two persons belonging to ST communities i.e. one male and one female will be selected to witness Republic Day Parade and Celebration, 2025 at New Delhi . The Selected person has to represent themselves in the traditional attire and is required to stay in Delhi from January 22, 2025 to February 02, 2025.

The expenditure on travel by Airport/ Railway from Goa to Delhi and back as well as food, accommodation will be borne by the State Government.
