The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs will be organizing the Goa State Civil Service Tournament during the month of January 2024.

Badminton for Men Open will be held on January 9, 2024, for women Open on January 10, 2024, for Men and Women veterans on January 11, 2024 and for Person with Disabilities will be on January 12, 2024 at Peddem Sports Complex, Last date of entries submission is January 5, 2024.

Table Tennis for Men and Women all categories will be held on January 15, 2024, for persons with Disabilities on January 16, 2024 at Indoor Hall Campal, Last date of entries submission is January 10, 2024.

Carrom for Men singles and doubles will be held on January 16, 2024, for Women singles and doubles on January 17, 2024 and Men and Women (50 yrs and above) on January 18, 2024, for Person with Disabilities will be held on January 19, 2024, at DSYA Office Campal, Last date of entries submission is January 12, 2024.

Chess for Men Open will be held on January 22, 2024, for Women Open on January 23, 2024 and for Person with Disabilities on January 24, 2024 at Indoor Hall, Campal, Last date of entries submission is January 17, 2024.

The players who participate in the Men/Women team are not eligible to participate in the Men/Women Veterans event.

It is informed that the entries are to be submitted within prescribed time limit and should be authenticated by the authorized officer under his sign and seal.

All the participants should carry individual identity cards/identity slip/age proof for verification of eligibility criteria by the organizing committee at the venue of the tournament.

Every member of the team should report at the venue and participate in the tournament as scheduled. Failure to do so will be treated as an act of indiscipline. All the participants shall maintain strict discipline on and off the venue of the tournament. Any act of indiscipline/misbehavior/misconduct will attract the provision of CCS (Conduct) Rules since government employees are treated “ON DUTY” during the state civil service tournament.

Referees/Umpires decision will be final and binding on the competition teams.

State team selections will be done during the competition itself. Teams will be deputed for All India Civil Services Tournament.
