CHIEF MINISTER PRESENTS OFFER LETTERS UNDER COMPENSATORY JOB SCHEME

The Government implementing Compensatory Job Scheme in the interest of the people to provide support and security to the family of the diseased who have died due to accident or natural death while in service stated Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant while speaking at a function organized to handover job offer letters to the beneficiaries of Compensatory Job Scheme and also to the Jobs for the Freedom fighters Children at PAC Room Assembly Complex, Porvorim today.
The Government today issued job offer letters to 71 beneficiaries under Compensatory Job Scheme and 28 beneficiaries under the scheme Jobs for the Childrens of freedom fighters.
The Chief Minister said it is often seen that those who secure job on compensatory ground doesn’t take care of their family like mother and siblings which is not good. He impressed upon the beneficiaries that they have secured the job at the cost of their father and not at the cost of their merit to look after the well being of their family members. He also advised them to discharge their duties with commitment and dedication as after joining the service. Regarding the services to the children’s of freedom fighter the Chief Minister said Government has always acknowledged the sacrifice and martyrdoms of our freedom fighter and has provided job opportunities to their family members as per 5% job quota. The Government doing its duty towards not only freedom within Goa but also freedom fighters from other states like Haryana wherein he himself paid visit to the house of Late Benipal Singh one of the freedom fighter from Haryana who also fought during freedom struggle movement of Goa. We will always remain indebted to them he reiterated.
