ROAD CLOSURE FOR TRIATHLON EVENT

District Magistrate, North Goa has permitted Road closure/diversion for Triathlon event (from November 4, 2023 to November 7, 2023 on Miramar-Caranzalem Road for the 37th National Games Goa – 2023 for Triathlon event the entire Dr. Jack Sequeira road from Miramar Circle to Aivao Junction (Both lanes) shall be closed for vehicular traffic from 04.00 hrs till the end of the race from November 4, 2023 to November 7, 2023. Car lane shall be provided on Dr. Jack de Sequeira road from Peace Heaven School junction upto Aivao Junction for the benefits of the residents along the road on both sides. Vehicles desiring to proceed from Panaji towards Donapaula/Caranzalem via DBB Marg shall take diversion at Miramar Circle towards Tonca-Adarsh Circle and further proceed via Old Caranzalem road, he vehicles proceeding from NIO Junction towards Panaji side shall be diverted at Aivao Junction to proceed via Old Caranzalem Internal road upto Hotel Goa International Junction and further proceed via Miramar Circle/Tonca to their onward destination. During event in case of emergency vehicles such as Ambulance, Fire brigades etc shall be allowed to move unobstructed. The route buses shall be diverted as per above plan. The event route and the diversion route shall be No Parking and No Stopping Zone for all types of vehicles.
