The Captain of Ports has notified that the Hon’ble President of India will visit in Goa from August 22 to August 24, 2023.Therefore directions are issued to all barges/boats (except those engaged in essential services) operating in the Zuari and Mandovi Rovers to stop the operations in Zuari and Mandovi Rivers during below mentioned dated and time for security reasons.

From the stretch Donapaula, surrounding Raj Bhavan and Caranzalem from 10.00 a.m. of August 22, 2023 till 2.00 p.m. of August 24, 2023. Patto Panaji to Miramar on August 22, 2023 from 3.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m., Miramar to Ribandar Patto on August 23, 2023 from 2.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. and from Miramar-Betim-Nerul-Sinquerim-Panaji-Ribandar-Old Goa on August 24, 2023 from 8.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m..

Violations of the above shall be viewed seriously, as informed by the Department of Information and Publicity.
