VALEDICTORY CEREMONY OF 13TH FEDERATION CUP NATIONAL SOFTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP 2023 HELD

Team Maharashtra won 1st place, Team Punjab won 2nd and Team Kerala won 3rd prize in womens category while team Chhattisgarh won 1st prize, Team Maharashtra won 2nd Prize and Team Andhra Pradesh won 3rd prize in Men’s category respectively at the 13th Federation Cup National Softball Championship organized by Goa Softball Association in collaboration with Sports Authority of Goa under the Auspices of Softball Association of India and Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs at SAG Ground Campal Panjim today .

Ms Neetal Narang, President Softball Association of India (SBAI) was the chief guest for valedictory ceremony and Prize Distribution function congratulating all the athletes and the winners said we are looking forward to the National games to be held in Goa and she hoped that all the participants playing the soft ball will give great performance in the upcoming National game.

Dr Geeta Nagvekar, Director, Sports Authority of Goa was the Guest of Honour for the function said its feels great to see the youngster performing at this level and congratulated all the winners.

Shri Bhagirath Shetye, Chairman Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education was the special invitee for the function.

Shri L.R Maurya Secretary General, SBAI, Shri Srikant Thorat ,Treasurer, SBAI, Dr Praveen Anaokar, Chairman Secretariat and Foreign Affairs (SBAI) also grace the ceremony.

13th Federation Cup National Softball Championship was the Mega sports events commenced from 1st may to 3rd May in which around 400 athletes from 11 states of India participated.

Shri Dharma Chodankar, President, Goa Softball Association welcomed the gathering while Shri Rupesh Thanekar, Chairman organizing Committee proposed the vote of Thanks.

Shri Rupesh Lingudkar compered the function.
