Monserrate Inaugurates LSR office at Dharbandora

The Office of the Inspector of Survey & Land Records was inaugurated today at the Government Complex Building in Dharbandora by the Minister for Revenue, Shri Atanasio Monserrate. This move is part of the government’s initiative to provide better and faster services to the public.
The inauguration was attended by various dignitaries, including Dr. Ganesh Gaonkar, MLA, Sanvordem & Chairman GTDC, Shri. Sandip Jacques, IAS, Secretary Revenue, Smt. Suvarna Prabhu Tendulkar, Chairperson South Goa Zilla Panchayat, Smt. Sudha Gaonkar, Zilla Panchayat Member, Dharbandora and Shri Vinayak Gauns, Sarpanch, Village Panchayat, Dharbandora.
During the function, the Minister for Revenue highlighted the government’s commitment to providing better services to the public. He emphasized that cases of partition and resurvey will be fast-tracked, and that officials have been instructed to provide quicker services to the public.
Dr. Ganesh Gaonkar, MLA, Sanvordem & Chairman GTDC expressed his gratitude to the Minister for Revenue for making his dream project a reality. He also urged the people of Dharbandora to take full advantage of the new facilities.
Shri. Sandip Jacques, IAS, Secretary Revenue commended the decision of CM Dr. Pramod Sawant and Revenue Minister, Atanasio Monserrate regarding Special Concession in stamp duty & registration fees for execution of Sale Deed/Conveyance by the Co-operative Housing Societies in Goa. He told that the window period for this concession will be three months commencing from May 1st.
The welcome speech was delivered by Shri Mandar Naik, Deputy Director (Administration), Directorate of Settlement and Land Records, while the vote of thanks was proposed by Shri. Johnson Fernandes, Director, Directorate of Settlement and Land Records.
With the inauguration of the Office of the Inspector of Survey & Land Records, the people of Dharbandora will no longer need to travel to Quepem for work related to survey and land records. The government is committed to providing better services to the public, and this move is a step in that direction.
