SHRI DHAVALIKAR LAYS FOUNDATION STONE FOR BEAUTIFICATION WORKS IN DHAVALI

Minister for Power Shri Sudin Dhavalikar performed Bhumipujan and laid Foundation Stones for beautification works on the auspicious occasion of Akshay trutiya in the precincts of Shree Bhagwati Temple, Dhavali and Shree Satyanarayan Temple, Dhavali, Ponda today.

Addressing the gathering Shri Dhavalikar said that Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant has earmarked the funds to the tune of Rs. 2.50 crores to all MLA,s for development of the Constituencies they represent. Government has sanctioned these funds and allocated first to the development of Marcaim Constituency . It is the proud moment for the people of Marcaim, Shri Dhavalikar added.

Speaking further, Dhavalikar said that in the next five years, social works worth Rs 12 crores will be undertaken in each constituency from the MLA Fund, so every MLA should use this fund in every village to complete various social works.

Shri Dhavalikar informed that the beautification and renovation work will be taken up which are estimated to cost Rs.2.50 crores. These includes construction of Hall, erection of Entrance Arch, Dome work of Satyanarayan temple, fixing of interlocking pavers, washrooms, beautification of Shree Bhagwati temple precincts etc.

Expressing concern over increasing Breast and cancer detection cases among women on day today basis the Minister said an agreement will be signed between Madhavrao Dhavalikar Trust and Dilasa Hospital, Bandoda to provide facilities for women suffering from dreaded cancer disease. In this context Shri Dhavalikar mentioned that the Madhavrao Dhavalikar Trust and Dilasa Hospital, Bandoda will organize Breast and cancer detection test camps for women aged between 35 and 60 years and bear the expenses for the treatment of cancer patients

Smt. Manuja Naik, Sarpanch Kavlem, Shri Ganpat Naik, Zillah Panchayat Member, Kavale, Shri Sushant Kapileshwar, Dy Sarpanch, Panch Members Shri Yogesh Kavalekar, Sonali Tendulkar , Shri Devendra Dhavalikar, Businessmen and President Bhagwati Devasthan amongst others were present on the occasion.
