ELECTRICITY DEPT APPEALS TO PAY POWER BILLS

The Superintending Engineer, Circle -1 South Goa of Electricity Department, Shri. Rajiv Samant has appealed to all consumers of South Goa to pay the arrears of electricity bill before February 28, 2023 and avoid disconnection of Power Supply and inconvenience.

It is further informed that the consumers have the facility to clear the Electricity arrears through “One Time Settlement Scheme 2022” (OTSS 2022) by registering up to February 27, 2023. The Scheme is applicable to all the categories of consumers which are Active, Temporary Disconnected, Permanently Disconnected and Arrears under Revenue Recovery Courts. The consumers can avail One Time Settlement Scheme by Paying Principle amount and avail 100% waival of Delay Payment Charges (DPC) Pay outstanding in installments for Domestic consumers in 12 installments and for Commercial and Industrial Consumers in 8 installments.

Also a new occupier of old premises can also clear the accumulated dues of old consumers with waiver of fixed charges and DPC. The consumers whose installations are under permanently disconnected and referred to Revenue Recovery Court may approach the department for availing OTS Scheme and pay online principle amount.

All consumers are requested to co-operate with departmental employees. Any inconvenience caused to consumers during Revenue Recovery is regretted.
