GOVERNOR TO VISIT SALCETE TALUKA ON AUG 27

The Governor of Goa Shri P. S. Sreedharan Pillai will be visiting Benaulim and Velim Constituencies of Salcete Taluka on August 27, 2022 as part of “Goa Sampurna Yatra”,. He will be visiting village panchayats of Carmona and Sarzora and interacting with sarpanchas and members of village panchayats of Colva, Seraulim, Benaulim, Varca, Carmona, Orlim, Cavelossim and Velim, Ambelim,Chinchinim, Assolna, Aarzora, Dharmapur, San-Jose-de-Areal and also disburse financial aid to the dialysis patients. During the field visit Shri Cruz Silva, MLA Velim and Shri Capt. Venzy Viegas, MLA, Benaulim will be accompanying the Governor.

At 10.30 am, the Governor will visit Colva Church for prayers and then depart to Hawai Beach/Wadi Beach at Benaulim where he will interact with members of the fishing community.

The Governor will then visit Village Panchayat Carmona and interact with sarpanchas and members of Village Panchayats of Colva, Seraulim, Benaulim, Varca, Carmona, Orlim and Cavelossim.

The Governor will visit Our Lady of Hope Church, Chinchinim for prayers at 3.15 pm and will then visit Village Panchayat Sarzora and interact with sarpanchas and members of village panchayats of Velim, Ambelim, Chinchinim, Assolna, Sarzora, Dharmapur, San-Jose-de-Areal panchayats from 3.45 pm to 5.00 pm.
