Surveillance Campaign on Adulteration of Edible Oils.

The Directorate of Food and Drugs Administration (DFDA) has informed that, as part of the Surveillance Campaign on Adulteration of Edible Oils which has started in Goa on August 01st, 2022; the Food Safety Officers have drawn 12 Samples on August 02, 2022 of different varieties of Oils such as Refined Sunflower Oil, Refined Palmolein Oil, Kachi Gani Pure Mustard Oil, Refined Soyabean Oil, Groundnut Oil, Refined Rice Bran Oil; of different brands from the retail markets; from Talukas of Bicholim and Quepem.

These Samples will be forwarded to the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) approved Food Testing Laboratory for Analysis.

The Sampling of Edible Oil products will continue till August 14th, 2022.
