ROAD ACCIDENT STATISTICS FOR MARCH 2022

Monthly report of the accidents and challans issued by the Directorate of Transport for the month of March 2022.

As per the report 274 road accidents out of which 23 were Fatal Accidents (North Goa – 07 and South Goa – 16), 17 Grievous Accidents (North Goa – 11 and South Goa – 06), 45 Minor Accidents (North Goa – 22 and South Goa – 23) and 189 Non – Injury Accidents (North Goa – 102 and South Goa –87).

The total number of persons who lost their lives in road accidents are 24 (North Goa – 07 and South Goa – 17), 11 Riders, 5 P/Riders, 1 Driver and 7 Pedestrian lost their lives in these accidents. 25 people were Grievously Injured (North – 13 and South – 12) while 74 persons suffered Minor Injuries (North – 35, South – 39).

Total 1447 Challans were issued by Transport Authorities in the month of March 2022, as informed by the Department of Information and Publicity.
