GOVERNOR EXTENDS RAM NAVAMI GREETINGS

Governor of Goa, Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari has extended his heartiest greetings and warm wishes to the people of Goa on the pious occasion of Ram Navami on April 21, 2021.

In his message, Governor has said Ram Navami signifies the memorable day on which Lord Ram was born. The Lord descended to the Earth in the form of a human being to vanquish the forces of evil and establish Dharma. The celebration of Ram Navami is an opportunity for all of us to reflect on Lord Rama’s glorious personality. He lived his life in accordance with the principles of Dharma. He embodied all the virtues that should characterize man. He was an ideal son, an ideal brother, ideal husband, an ideal friend and ideal king. It is because of his perfect character that his rule came to be known as Ram Rajya in which the rule of righteousness prevailed.

On this auspicious occasion let us dedicate ourselves to values of truth, purity, honesty, humility and righteousness. Let the celebrations this year be marked by adherence to safety protocols. May the celebrations of Ram Navami, this year, usher peace, prosperity and happiness to one and all, the Governor concludes, as informed by the Department of Information and Publicity.
