DIP’S ANNUAL SHREE SATYANARAYAN MAHAPUJA ON AUGUST 29

The annual Shree Satyanarayan Mahapuja of the Department of Information and Publicity will be held at its office premises on August 29, 2026, Saturday. The Department holds its annual Satyanarayan Mahapuja every year in the month of Shravan, considered an auspicious month according to the Hindu Calendar.

This year, Shri Vishnu Gaunkar of this Department along with his spouse Smt. Sarita Vishnu Gaunkar will perform the puja ceremony and religious rituals which will commence at 9 am. The puja will be followed by aarti and singing of bhajans. The talented bhajan group – Virdi Bhajani Mandal-led by Shri Pramod Naik and accompanied by staff of the Department will present bhajans on the occasion.

This will be followed by Tirth Prasad and Mahaprasad. The Department has appealed to all to attend the puja in large numbers.
