DM NORTH PROHIBITS DIGGING OF ROADS DURING MONSOON

The District Magistrate, North Goa has prohibited any person/ agency/ organization from digging of all types of roads, road shoulder / lanes or thoroughfares or a part thereof without the written permission of District Magistrate.

The order is issued considering that, digging of all types of roads or a part thereof may pose serious danger to the pedestrians, motor vehicles and the general public during monsoon season due to accumulation of water, skidding on the debris, electric shocks due to snapped electric wires, etc.
