NATIONAL VOTERS’ DAY ON JAN 25

The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Goa, in coordination with the District Election Officer, South Goa, will be organizing the 16th State-Level National Voters’ Day on January 25, 2026 at Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir, Ponda, at 11.00 am.

Governor of Goa, Shri Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest and Chief Secretary Dr. V. Candavelou, IAS, State Election Commissioner Shri. Menino D’Souza, IAS (Retd.), Goa, will be present for the function.

The National Voters’ Day is observed every year with a specific theme to promote electoral awareness and participation. This year National Voter’s Day theme is “My India, My Vote”, with the tagline Citizen at the Heart of Indian Democracy. The theme provides a unifying message for voter outreach and communication.
