DRUG ABUSE PREVENTION AWARENESS PROGRAMME HELD

V.M. Salgaocar College of Law, Mala free Legal Aid Cell in collaboration with the North Goa District Legal Services Authority, conducted a lecture on Drug prevention and abuse at Don Bosco College, Panjim.

The session was led by Mr. Sahil Warang, Police Sub-Inspector, Anjuna Police Station, who addressed students on the dangers of substance abuse. The programme was graced by Shri Irshad Agha, Principal District & Sessions Judge, and Mr. Narayan Surendra Amonkar, Retired Judge and presently Chief of the Legal Aid Defence Council, District Legal Services Authority, underscoring the judiciary’s commitment to preventive legal awareness.

The programme concluded with a short, impactful film on drug abuse, created and presented by the students of V.M. Salgaocar College of Law (Mala Legal Aid Cell) and directed by Klasha De Souza and Salma Shaikh, giving a strong message on the consequences of substance abuse.
