BLOOD DONATION CAMP AT RAJ BHAVAN

Raj Bhavan, Goa organised a blood donation camp today on the eve of the Liberation Day of Goa The camp was organised in coordination with the Blood Centre, Goa Medical College, Goa University, and the Indian Red Cross Society. The programme was inaugurated in the august presence of Governor, Shri Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju, who interacted with the voluntary blood donors and congratulated them for their selfless service to society. A total of 82 units of blood were collected during the camp.

The Governor emphasised the importance of organising such blood donation camps on a regular basis to ensure the timely availability of blood for patients in need. He also conveyed his appreciation to all the organising institutions and stakeholders for the successful conduct of the programme.
