ESMA INVOKED, STRIKES BANNED IN PHARMA SECTOR

The Government has invoked the Goa Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1988 (ESMA) and in public interest has prohibited strike in any form in all establishments engaged in manufacturing, packaging, distribution and transportation of pharmaceutical products and components thereof in pharmaceutical sector in the State with immediate effect. This Order shall be valid for a period of six months with effect from December 17, 2025.
