DM NORTH ISSUES PROHIBITORY ORDER DURING IFFI

District Magistrate, North Goa in view of 56th International Film Festival of India in Goa, Panaji from November 20, 2025 to November 28, 2025 has prohibited assembly and gathering of five or more persons and taking out or organizing of processions, the carrying of firearms or weapons of offences such as lathis, swords, daggers or spears, the use of loudspeakers, the shouting of slogans and burning of firecrackers near the petrol pumps and at the venues of meetings, etc. in any public place, street, road, square, thoroughfare, by-lane or in any open space within the radius of 500 meters around the place of function of 56th International Film Festival of India in Goa area under the jurisdiction of Panaji Police Station and Agacaim Police Station.

The order will come into force from November 19, 2025 and will remain in force till November 28, 2025.
