COURSE IN LEGISLATIVE DRAFTING HELD AT GOA ASSEMBLY COMPLEX

The Institute of Legislative Drafting and Research Department, Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India in collaboration with the Law Department and Goa Legislature Secretariat on Tuesday held the 35th basic course in legislative drafting at the Goa Assembly Complex, Porvorim.

The group of 20 trainee officers from various States headed by the Legislature Counsel Shri. K. K. Sharma and Shri. Giridhar Gopal Verma along with the Section Officer, Meesala Padmalatha interacted with the officials of the Law Department and Goa Legislature Secretariat to learn the Legislative Procedures and working of the Legislature.

Law Secretary, Shri. Sandip Jacques, Joint Secretaries of law department, Secretary Smt. Namrata Ulman, Joint Secretary, Shri. Mohan Gaonkar and Committee Officer, Shri. Eknath Sawant of the Goa Legislature Secretariat, were also present. Ms. Sthrigdhara Naik and Shri. Pranav Salgaonkar compered the programme while Shri. Prakash Satarkar proposed the vote of thanks.
