Governor Administers Oath to SCIC And SIC

Panaji, March 2, 2021

Shri Vishwas Ramnath Satarkar took oath as State Chief Information Commissioner (SCIC) and Shri Sanjay Narayan Dhavalikar as State Information Commissioner (SIC) at a simple ceremony held at Durbar Hall, Raj Bhavan, Donapaula today.

Governor Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari administered the oath of office to State Chief Information Commissioner and State Information Commissioner in the presence of Chief Minster Dr. Pramod Sawant.

State Chief Information Commissioner and State Information Commissioner will hold office for a period of three years.

Shri Sudhir Kerkar, Director of Information and Publicity read out the order of appointment of SCIC and SIC.

The oath taking ceremony was attended by Shri Narendra Savaikar, Commissioner for NRI Affairs; Chief Secretary, Shri Parimal Rai, IAS; Shri Sanjay Kumar, IAS, Secretary Information and Publicity, Shri Mihir Vardhan, Secretary to Governor and others.

Shri Allwyn Pereira, Information Officer, Department of Information and Publicity compered the function.

Thereafter, State Chief Information Commissioner and State Information Commissioner assumed charge of office at Goa State Information Commission, Patto, Panaji.
