STATE-LEVEL CONFERENCE OF DGP’s/IGP’s OF POLICE HELD

The State-Level Conference of Director General’s and Inspector General’s of Police 2025, organized by Goa Police was held today in Panaji under the Chairmanship of the Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant.

During the conference, the Chief Minister felicitated Bicholim Police Station by awarding a certificate of excellence for securing 5th position among India’s Best Police Stations for the year 2025, recognizing its outstanding performance and commitment to public service.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister also launched two significant initiatives aimed at strengthening policing and enhancing technological capabilities. These included the E-Zero FIR Module for Cyber Financial Fraud Cases and PRISM (Proactive Risk Identification & Surveillance Mechanism) – Intelligent Fusion Center.

The conference was attended by Dr. V. Candavelou, IAS, Chief Secretary of Goa; Shri Alok Kumar, IPS, Director General of Police; Shri Keshav Ram Chaurasia, IPS, Inspector General of Police, along with Collectors, Superintendents of Police, Heads of Departments, key stakeholders, and senior officials of the Goa Police.
