PAINTING EXHIBITION DURING LOKOTSAV 2026

The Directorate of Art and Culture will be organizing a “Painting Exhibition 2026” by Goan artists during the 25th year celebration of the National Level Folk Dance Festival “Lokotsav 2026” at Kala Academy, Campal, Panaji.

The exhibition is being organized in collaboration with the West Zone Cultural Centre, Udaipur, Rajasthan to be held in the Art Gallery of Kala Academy for ten days in January 2026. All the Goan artists are invited to participate in the exhibition to demonstrate their creativity through visual paintings/ artworks on the theme “Vibrant 25 years of Lokotsav”.

The Painting/ artwork for the exhibition will have to be the size of minimum 1.5 ft to maximum 2.5 ft with mounting, framing and hanging arrangements for the display. Only the selected paintings (ready for display) will be exhibited considering the area for the display in the art gallery.

The “Painting Exhibition 2026” will provide an opportunity to the Goan artists to present their talent in the visual form to the art lovers and for sale during the event by the respective artist. Artists will have to submit their work on January 16, 2026 during office hours in the Art Gallery at Kala Academy, Campal.
