KAMAT LAUNCHES E-SIGN MODULE FOR WORKS MANAGEMENT UNDER PWD

The Minister for Public Works Department, Shri Digambar Kamat while launching the e-sign module for Works Management under Public Works Department as part of e-governance project said that he was happy that the PWD Department has taken its steps towards digitisation. He was speaking at a function held at Altinho, Panaji, today.

This initiative he said would help further the aim for a ‘Vikasit’ and ‘Swayampurna Goem’. “Digitisation has penetrated all spheres of life and we need to keep pace with the digital era which is why the PWD has embarked on this e-sign module for Works Management, ” he said.

Shri Kamat further said that digitisation was important in PWD as infrastructure development is a major yardstick by which progress of Governments are judged. E-modules help bring about transparency in Governance stated Shri Kamat.

Present on the occasion were Principal Chief Engineer of the PWD, Uttam Parsekar, engineers of PWD, officials among others.
