GOVERNOR TO PAY FLORAL TRIBUTE AT AZAD MAIDAN ON JAN 30

Governor of Goa Shri. Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju will place the wreath on the Martyrs Memorial followed by Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, Speaker of the Goa Legislative Assembly, Ministers and other dignitaries, on January 30, 2026 at 10:30 am in the Memory of those who laid their lives in struggle for freedom of India at Azad Maidan, Panaji.

Guard of Honour will be given by the Goa Police and also sounding of Last Post will be played on the occasion. Department of Home has requested freedom fighters to attend the function.
