DEC 20 DECLARED ‘PAID HOLIDAY’

The Government has declared December 20, 2025 as a Paid Holiday being the Polling Day for General Elections to Zilla Panchayats of North and South Goa Districts, to every person employed in any business, trade, industrial undertaking or any other establishment and entitled to vote at the Zilla Panchayat Election, throughout the State of Goa.

The holiday shall also be a paid holiday to the following persons who are entitled to vote at the aforesaid Zilla Panchayat General Elections:- workers of all establishments including commercial and industrial undertakings in the State of Goa, daily wage/casual workers employed in any business, trade, industrial undertakings, Government departments, State Government Industrial Departments or any other establishments.
