CONSTITUTION DAY ON NOVEMBER 26

General Administration Department has informed that the Constitution Day will be celebrated on November 26, 2025 in the open space of the Secretariat, Porvorim, wherein, the Chief Secretary will read out the “Preamble” to the Constitution at 11.00 a.m.

The ‘Constitution Day’ is celebrated to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. An important part of the celebration is reading of the Preamble to the Constitution and reaffirming commitment to uphold its ideology, in all Government Officers, Autonomous bodies, organization and institutions, including educational institutions in the states.

Further, all the HODs/ Officers/ Autonomous Bodies/ Corporations are requested to read out the “Preamble” to the Constitutes in their respective offices on November 26, 2025 at 11.00 a.m.
