CM EXTENDS GREETINGS ON GOA LIBERATION DAY

The Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant has extended warm greetings to the people of Goa on the occasion of Goa Liberation Day. He paid tribute to the brave freedom fighters whose sacrifices paved the way for Goa’s liberation and reaffirmed the State’s collective commitment to uphold the values of freedom, dignity, and unity.

In his message, the Chief Minister stated that Goa Liberation Day is not only a reminder of our historic struggle for freedom but also a celebration of Goa’s enduring spirit, rich culture, and resilient people. He urged every Goan to honour this legacy by contributing proactively towards the progress and prosperity of the state.

The Chief Minister appealed to the citizens to work together to make Goa stronger, more sustainable, and self-reliant. Highlighting the Government’s flagship initiative ‘Swayampurna Goa,’ he encouraged people to take advantage of the opportunities it offers for economic empowerment, local entrepreneurship, skill development, and community-driven growth.

He emphasized that a self-reliant Goa can be built only through collective participation and a shared sense of responsibility. “Let us rededicate ourselves to the development of our villages, our communities, and our State. Together, let us strengthen the vision of ‘Swayampurna Goa’ and ensure a brighter, more prosperous future for every Goan,” the Chief Minister said.

The Chief Minister wished all citizens a joyful and proud Goa Liberation Day!
