CM extends greetings on 77th Republic Day

Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant extended his heartiest greetings to the people of the State, on the significant occasion of India’s 77th Republic Day. CM paid rich tributes to the freedom fighters and the architect of the constitution whose struggle made India a free & democratic country.
Chief Minister Sawant in his message to the people said, “Republic day honours the enactment of the Constitution of India which came into effect on January 26, 1950. Republic Day is indeed a matter of collective pride for all the citizens of the Country.”
Further in his message CM Sawant said, “Republic day is truly a historic milestone in the journey of the nation. As we enjoy fundamental rights every citizen has to follow fundamental duties to keep the democratic principles of the nation on supremacy. People should remember the architects of the Constitution who made our country achieve many heights. Also, let us cherish and protect secular, democratic and federal values to build a prosperous nation.”
“The State Government is constantly trying to bring improved infrastructure, public health and education opportunities to every single citizen. Let us strive together to contribute towards the progress of our small beautiful State and collectively pledge to build Aatmanirbhar Bharat and Swayampurna Goa,” CM added.
“On this day let us pay tribute to the memory of the patriotic revolutionaries and martyrs. On republic day we express our gratitude to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, who chaired the Drafting Committee of the constitution and others who worked hard and bequeathed us this most Supreme document. Let us reaffirm our commitment to the ideals enshrined in our Constitution. I wish happiness and prosperity to the people of the State,” CM concluded.
