APPLICATIONS INVITED FOR POST OF PROJECT STAFF AT GU

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates on plain paper for one post of Project Staff to work on the project entitled “Comprehensive Analysis of Metals, Pesticides and Microplastics in Coastal Goa: Environmental Monitoring and Toxicity Assessment in Commercially Important Fauna”, sponsored by Goa State Research Foundation (GSRF), Government of Goa.

The duration of the project is for 03 years and essential qualification is Master’s Degree in Zoology with minimum 55% marks. Experience in Chemical analysis of water parameters is desirable.

The Fellowship Amount is Rs. 20,000 per month (consolidated) and age limit for applicant is below 35 years of age.

Interested candidates may appear for the Walk-in interview on January 10, 2026 at 11:00 am onwards at the Zoology Office, School of Biological Sciences and Biotechnology, Goa University. The candidates should write an application on a plain paper addressed to Dr. Avelyno D’Costa, Principal Investigator, School of Biological Sciences and Biotechnology, Goa University, Taleigao Plateau, Goa – 403206 and submit it to the Zoology Office by 10:00 am.The candidate should submit self-attested copies of the relevant certificates/mark sheets along with the application and should carry the originals for verification.

No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates appearing for the interview.
