CM INAUGURATES 8TH INTERNATIONAL HINDI CONF

The Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated the 8th International Hindi Conference organized by the Institute Menezes Braganza and Bhasha Sahodari at IMB Hall Panaji today.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated Institute Menezes Braganza and Bhasha Sahodari for organizing a two days long Hindi Conference. Institute Menezes Braganza, which is the oldest institute of the State, has always worked for all the languages in Goa by organizing various programmes, he added.

Our government will constantly work to promote the regional languages in Goa, he asserted. In future also regional languages will have good scope in Goa. We have already started graduation, Post Graduate education in Konkani Language in Goa, he informed. Our Marathi academy and Konkani academy are also working hard to promote Konkani and Marathi languages in Goa, he remarked.

The Chief Minister released a Hindi book titled Sahodari and Bhasha Sahodari on the occasion.

Present on the occasion were Chairman of Institute Menezes Braganza Shri. Dasharath Parab, Member Secretary, IMB, Shri. Ashok Parab, Shri Jaykant Mishra, Smt. Aasha Gehrut and other dignitaries.
