PUBLIC SERVICE CAMP UNDER SEWA PAKHWADA HELD AT PONDAPUBLIC SERVICE CAMP UNDER SEWA PAKHWADA HELD AT PONDA

The Office of the Deputy Collector & Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Ponda as a part of the State-wide initiative under Sewa Pakhwada organised a Public Service & Grievance Redressal Camp at Ponda today.

The camp witnessed participation from multiple Government Departments including Office of the Mamlatdar, Land Survey, Additional Collector, Social Welfare, Animal Husbandry, Labour & Employment, Town & Country Planning, Zonal Agriculture Office, Child Development Project Office (CDPO), Ponda Municipal Council, Water Resources Department (WRD), and State Bank of India.

A special facility for Aadhaar updation was also provided with the support of Ponda Municipal Council, which drew a large response from citizens. Citizens availed services such as: Aadhaar updation, Issuing of Character/ Residence Certificates, Mutation and tenancy-related services, Tenancy Purchase Sanads, Correction of Electoral Roll details and Guidance on new applications and grievance redressal.

The camp was well received by the public, who appreciated the single-window facility for availing multiple services in one place.

Besides, a special awareness drive on Class I Occupancy for 20 Point Programme plots was conducted across Ponda Taluka. Talathis visited 20 Point Programme areas, distributed forms, and guided beneficiaries regarding the procedure for obtaining Class I Occupancy.

At Bandora Panchayat, Jt. Mamlatdar of Ponda, Ms. Meghana P. Naik, along with Talathi Shri. Brijesh Naik, personally interacted with citizens and explained the scheme in detailed.

The camp reflected the Government’s commitment towards prompt delivery of public services, grievance redressal, and citizen-centric governance. The active participation of various Departments ensured speedy disposal of applications and effective outreach to citizens.
