Rich tributes paid to Ravi Naik at condolence meet in KA
Will be remembered for his contribution towards the emancipation of the poor, agricultural land reforms: CM

Paying rich tribute to the leader of the masses and the Agriculture Minister of the State, Shri Ravi Naik, the Chief Minister, Dr Pramod Sawant said that late Ravi Naik would be remembered by the people of Goa for his immense contribution towards the emancipation of the poor and needy people of Goa. This he said is because of his landmark tenancy policy which he had implemented to make the common man, the farmers, the owner of the land.
Dr. Sawant was speaking today at the condolence meet organized by the Government at Kala Academy today.
The Chief Minister further speaking said late Ravi Naik served the people of Goa without discriminating people on any basis. While working in various positions in the Government, he strived to help, the needy and poor sections of the society. It’s because of his work for the upliftment of the poor, he is even recognised as the leader of the Bahujan Samaj of Goa he said.
The Chief Minister appealed to the youth of Goa to derive inspiration from such a tall personality and emerge as leaders in the service of society. The contribution of late Naik in the field of education, social upliftment, infrastructure and overall development of Goa is immense he said stating that his untimely demise has created a great loss to Goan society.
The Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis who was present at the condolence meet while speaking said that late Ravi Naik was a prominent leader in Goan politics and during his lifetime, late Naik struggled a lot and rose to a high position. He always sought to help the needy people and his contribution towards the development of Goa has been remarkable. His good work and his ambition to uplift weaker sections will be remembered forever Shri Fadnavis.
Union Minister for Power, Government of India, Shri Shripad Naik while addressing the meeting said late Ravi Naik was a true leader of the masses who worked for the emancipation of the weaker sections of society. He called him a visionary leader who believed in carving his own destiny with his hard work. During his lifetime as a politician he always upheld the interest of Goans. Hile said that Shri Naik’s sad demise has created a void and is a tremendous loss to the society.
Minister for Health, Shri Vishwajit Rane while speaking recalled memories of late Ravi Naik as leader in politics, his work, and his contribution towards the people of Goa. He remembered how Shri Naik, being a seniormost politician, would guide them to guide to serve and work for the betterment of the people of Goa.
