DELAY IN DISTRIBUTION OF RATION

The Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs has informed that on account of ongoing technical issues due to the installation of new software under SMART-PDS the distribution of food grains through Fair Price Shops (FPS’s) to the PDS beneficiaries has been affected.

The Department is constantly following up the issue with the NIC and are hopeful of resuming the operations at FPSs soon
