PAY PARKING FOR TWO-WHEELERS, FOUR-WHEELERS NOTIFIED IN TALEIGAO

District Magistrate, North Goa notified the place for “PAY PARKING” for the Two Wheelers and Four Wheelers within the jurisdiction of village Panchayat Taleigao, at in front of St. Michael Church Cemetery and at Taleigao Market on both side of the road in Ward No.VIII, Sao Paul, are Pay parking rate for two wheelers up to 4 hrs is Rs. 5/-, 4 hrs to 12 hrs is Rs. 10/- and 12 hrs and less than 24 hrs is Rs. 15/-. Pay parking rate for Four wheelers up to 4 hrs is Rs. 20/-, and every extra hours or part is Rs. 15/-.

Person/Attendant engaged in collecting parking fees shall be compulsorily wearing proper uniform and display proper photo ID Cards with unique numbers which shall be displayed on the person. The attended shall also carry a certified copy of rate chart notified by concern authority for showing to the citizens as and when demanded.

The parking slip/ receipt issued to the motorists/driver should bear the letter head of Village Panchayat Taleigao and the contact number of the responsible Officer of Village Panchayat and pay parking of Contractor to ensure that any grievence if any, is expressed to the concerned. Also complaints if any, shall be redressed by such officer.

The Village Panchayat Taleigao/ Pay Parking Contractor shall earmark parking space in each Four Wheeler parking area for at least two emergency vehicles at all times.

The Village Panchayat Taleigao/ Pay Parking Contractor shall reserve One 4 wheeler parking space for the vehicles of physically challenged driver.
