CM TO INAUGURATE OUTREACH PROGRAM ON SEPT. 29

The Office of the Commissioner, Labour & Employment in collaboration with the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Regional Office Goa has organised the Outreach Program as a part of the Seva Pakhwada campaign being held nationwide.

Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant in presence of Shri Atanasio Monserrate, Minister of Labour & Employment and others will attend the Outreach Program at Multipurpose Hall, Sanskruti Bhavan, Central Library Complex, Patto Centre, Panaji at 10.30 am on September 29, 2025.

This outreach program aims to spread awareness among industries, workers, and stakeholders about Central and State welfare schemes, including Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana, SPREE 2025 (Scheme for Promotion of Registration of Employers and Employees), State Labour Welfare Schemes for worker well-being and social security.

The program will feature presentations, open forums, and interactions with policymakers, Government officials, and industry leaders.

Other distinguished dignitaries present will be Shri Sandip Jacques, IAS, Secretary, Labour & Revenue, Shri Arif Lohani, Additional Central PF Commissioner (Karnataka & Goa), EPFO, Smt. Pratima Dhond, President, Goa Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI), Shri Sachin B. Sabnis, CBT Member, EPFO, Shri Rajesh S. Ajgaonkar, Commissioner, Labour & Employment, Goa, Shri Ramkesh Meena, Regional PF Commissioner-I, EPFO RO Hubli and Shri Atul Kotkar, Regional PF Commissioner-II, EPFO RO Goa.

Informative literature and awareness material will be distributed to amplify awareness of welfare schemes that strengthen Goa’s workforce and industry.
