CM DISTRIBUTES GOVT APPOINTMENT LETTERS AT ROJGAR MELAVA

Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant today reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to providing employment opportunities for the youth of Goa, announcing that 5,000 youth will be inducted into Government jobs through the Goa Human Resource Development Corporation over the next two years. In addition, 2,500 jobs are set to be rolled out soon under the Staff Selection Commission, he informed.

Addressing the Rojgar Melava organized under the Sewa Pakhwada initiative at Kala Academy, Panaji, CM Sawant distributed over 900 appointment letters to newly inducted youth across various Government departments and organizations. The event was organized by the Department of Information and Publicity.

CM Sawant emphasized the Government’s focus on building a self-reliant and dignified workforce, aligned with the vision of “Viksit Bharat” as envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He encouraged the youth to support this vision, highlighting that sincerity in work and a commitment to public service are the cornerstones of State and National development.

He reiterated the importance of Nari Shakti, Yuva Shakti, Kisan Shakti, and Garib Kalyan as the four foundational pillars of the Prime Minister’s roadmap for a developed India.

Congratulating the newly appointed individuals, the Chief Minister remarked that although they will serve in different roles, their unified purpose is service to the citizens.

The appointments were made in departments including Goa Human Resource Development Corporation; Education Department; Rural Development Corporation; Department of Environment and Climate Change and Water Resources Department.

The event was graced by several dignitaries including Shri Subhash Shirodkar, Minister for Water Resources Department, who delivered the Welcome Address; Shri Subhash Phaldessai, Minister for Social Welfare Department; Shri Sadanand Shet Tanavade, MP, Rajya Sabha; Shri Jit Arolkar, MLA, Mandrem; Shri Chandrakant Shetye, MLA, Bicholim; Shri Premendra Shet, MLA, Mayem; Shri Rudolf Fernandes, Chairperson, Goa Human Resource Development Corporation & MLA, St. Cruz; Shri Rohit Monserrat, Mayor, Corporation of the City of Panaji; Shri Sarpreet Singh Gill, IAS, Commissioner-cum-Secretary (Information and Publicity); Shri Dipak Bandekar, Director, Information and Publicity.
