ANNUAL SHREE SATYANARAYAN MAHAPOOJA HELD AT DIP

The Department of Information and Publicity celebrated its annual Shree Satyanarayan Mahapooja in the office premises today. The pooja ceremony was performed by the Artist of DIP, Shri Sarvesh D. Phadke and his Spouse, Smt. Sadhana Sarvesh Phadke.

The event began at 9:30 am with religious rituals. It may be noted that the annual Shree Satyanarayan Mahapooja of DIP is being held every second Saturday of auspicious Shrawan month.

An aesthetically designed altar was specially erected for the occasion. The event drew a large number of devotees from various walks of life. Prominent among those who visited the Department to offer prayers and invoke blessings included.

Shri Aravind Nair, Chief Information Commissioner, Shri Gaurish Kalangutka OSD to Chief Minister, Journalists, Heads of Departments, Government employees and media persons.

The highlight of the celebration was the presentation of Bhajan by some of the officials of the department. The staff members also participated in Aarti.

Director of DIP, Shri Dipak M. Bandekar and other officers welcomed the devotees during their visit to the department.
