BYE ELECTIONS TO WARDS IN ARAMBOL, PONDA PANCHAYATS ON AUGUST 02

The Bye election to following vacant wards of Village Panchayats Ward No.IV of Village Panchayat Arambol in Pernem taluka and Ward No. II of Village Panchayat Durbhat, PondaTaluka, will be held on August 02, 2025. The counting of votes will be held August, 04, 2025.

The District Collector North Goa and District Collector, South Goa are appointed as the District Election Officer. The Mamlatdars of concerned taluka are appointed as the Returning Officer and Awal Karkun in the Office of Mamlatdaris appointed as the Assistant Returning Officer.

The Model Code of Conduct is in force from July 11, 2025 and will be applicable in the areas within the jurisdiction of above referred wards of VillagePanchayats till the Election process is completed.

The Election Schedule is as follows. Date for receipt of nomination (Except July 20, 2025 being Sunday) is Tuesday, July, 15, 2025 to July 22, 2025 from10 am to1 pm. Date and time for scrutiny of nomination papers is July 23, 2025 from 10 am till the scrutiny is over. Date and time of withdrawal of nomination papers is July 24,2025 from10am to2 pm Date and time of poll is August, 02, 2025 from 08 am to5 pm. Date and time of Counting is August 04, 202 from 08.00 am till the Counting of votes is completed.
